Turbo Pascal is a good recommendation, but it has alot of features that Wirth's Pascal doesn't. If used for classroom purposes, Turbo Pascal will let you do too much and I'm sure the instuctor would not appreciate it. If I handed in a program written in Turbo Pascal, I would probably be laughed at. But for other than classroom use, I agree that Turbo Pascal is one of the best. Devon E Bowen University of Buffalo
