I finally saw one -- the C128 Programmer's Reference Guide! Its been over
five or so months since I last corrected a draft of this wonderful (and
very thick) book, and I was beginning to wonder if they had lost it. But
NO, ITS HERE. At least, we have one new, complete, ready to ship copy,
with more on the way next week. We authors (had better!) get them first,
but I can't imagine any reason why Bantam won't be shipping them to the
general bookstores as early as next week. Still no official date, but
if they're making real publication items, you'd better bet they want to
get them out ASAP so that the $$$ can start rolling in. The C64 version
has sold over 2 million copies, at about $19.95 a pop. The 128 book
looks to be about twice as fat, for a mere $21.95 (a bargain at twice the
price).
