I have heard a great deal of talk in the last few months about people trying to find a reference guide for the 128. Usually I try to just send to those who post that they need some help, but since this has been on here a few time I figured I would tell some over the net. About three months ago I purchased a book called "128 INTERNALS" from Abacus Software. This book has been a great aid to me in programming the 128. I have not, however; had the time to go through this book in as much detail as I usually like too, but so far it looks as up to par as thier other books. For instance if anyone out there knows the "ANATOMY OF THE 1541", which was probably the first book that actually explained how to use the features of the 1541 disk drive and probably did the best of any book, this book comes right up there in the same catagory of helping you figure out those strange features that others try to shy away from. So I would highly recommend this book along with thier other books. Abacus Software has a whole string of books just for the 128. You can probably see an add for them in any magazine. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I am in no way affiliated with Abacus Software. I just like thier books so much that I thought that I would let others know about them. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Bill Barnes BTB@PSUECL.BITNET or WTB@PSUVM.BITNET
