Has anyone successfully used the any 1200 baud modem with the C64 (NOT the C128) with the 80 column TERM.PLUS V52 emulator on a UN*X system? The version of TERM.PLUS that I have been using works great in VI in 80 column mode at 300 baud with my old modem and no extra hardware. -- -- J. It's fast enough for 1200 bps (I think it uses programmable characters or something like that, rather than graphics... but I'm not sure). I bought mine about five months ago. I've also been using CBTerm, which is not an emulator but is a good public-domain program with XMODEM, a 22.5 K buffer, etc. I hope I can help with any problems you may be having??
