[net.micro.cbm] 1670 modem question

drg@briar.UUCP (Don Gentner) (07/25/86)

Will a Commodore 1670 modem work properly with a C-64 computer?
Some ads imply that the 1670 modem is only for the C-128.
Any general advice about modems (preferably 1200 baud) for the C-64
would be appreciated.
				thanks,

The 1670 will work very nicely with your C64. Software is included
for both a C128 and a C64. The 1670 is Hayes compatible, so nearly
ANY terminal program will work with it. Not true of the Anchor modems.
