It seems I erred. After posting the Sprite Help article, I went home and experimented a little. It seems the old VIC II locations were valid in BASIC 7.0 and my cries of dispair were for naught. I successfully operated the sprites using the old 53248+ registers and the 2040+ registers for the pointers. But there is still the problem of defining the sprites from graphics using SSHAPE and SPRSAV. For some reason, It still gave me one line of garbage at the very bottom of each sprite I designed. I have the answer though, when you SPRSAV A$,1 the sprite number 1's picture is located at pointer #56. I just cleared out those locations first, then used SSHAPE and SPRSAV. It worked, but there should be an easier way to clear out those sprites than that. I tried sshaping a blank screen and sprsaving it (Giving hopefully a blank sprite,) but it didnt work. Oh well, Live and Learn. /~~~~~\ |~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| |/ / \ \| | UUCP: {akgua,allegra,cbosgd,ihnp4,mcvax,utesri}!garfield!sean1 | (|-@-@-|) | CDNNET: sean1@garfield.mun.cdn | \| ^ |/ | Sean Huxter | | \_/ | | Apt. 420, 235 Blackmarsh Rd., St. John's, NF, Canada | \___/ |(Can YOU say NEWFOUNDLAND, boys and girls?)
