[net.rec.nude] Why? indeed...

I dunno. Ever since I used to work as a life guard at a swimming pool, I
discovered how nice it is to swim and just run around without clothes on.
Now, at college, where people are supposed to be simultaneously wild-and-crazy
and somewhat mature about such things as nudity, it is almost impossible to
get people to go skinny-dipping in the middle of a dark night, at the lake
which is about 30 seconds from anywhere and very warm, and everything is
conducive to skinny-dipping (drinking...) Now I'm one of few people I know
who never drinks (or has) and yet consistently I'm the only one who has an
(any, that was supposed to be) fun when we go swimming.... People are just
unnecessarily "uptight" about such things, I guess. But what a thrill, what
a freedom! I have always admired the folks who live at a co-op on the lake
here who routinely skinny-dip in the middle of the day, right smack in the
middle of everything, as though none of the rest of the world were even there.
I suppose it's probably illegal, but nobody really seems to care....
