A while ago I posed a question to the newsgroup regarding readers feelings about the presence of cameras in naturist settings. Here is a summary of the two responses mailed to me. Judging by the small response, and lack of discussion on the net, it would seem that most of us are not particularly bothered by the idea of being photograph in the nude; or at least it does not seem to be an inflammatory subject. Some of us, though, would prefer not being photographed at all, clothed or not. ----------------------------------------------------------------- 1. I am one of the people published as (calmly) philosophically opposed to the solicitation for models. Mostly for it's intended use, as I have no objection to domestic nudity or nude art. I have bought and viewed "soft-core" porn, and think of it as private. 2. I haven't seemed to mind cameras around nude areas when the "ostensible intended use" is wholesome. (how in the world anyone could make guidelines on that I'll never know. There's a bad ex- ception for every good rule and vice versa.) As a male, though I'm less likely to be "used for exploitation". Basically, it's cool if you're cool about it. -------------------------------------------------------------------- I don't like it when anybody takes a picture of me, under any circumstances. I abided with it for passports and visas. -------------------------------------------------------------------- Michael Stimac ...hplabs!oliveb!tymix!stimac
