regarding bathing cats..... the only reason why it isn't a good idea is that people have a tendancy to let their cat outside before he's completely dry. if you're absolutely sure that the cat is bone dry before letting him out, he/she'll be o.k. it. i was able to cut down my flea population noticeably when i sprayed the yard around the house and sprayed the cats the same day. it's tiring, but whemn you have friends that are allergic to flea bites...... i never had any success with sevin.
