I share a house with a friend of mine, and we have two cats, both adults. We call one "Wimp" because he is pretty wimpy, and the other is called "Mr. Bill", because we got him around the time when many of us were pre- occupied with such things. A few months ago, one or the other cat decided it was OK to urinate at the base of a filing cabinet we had in the dining room. We cleaned the cabinet, but it became a habit of theirs; they would do it once every few weeks. Since we don't often go into the filing cabinet, we only recently opened it and were almost blown away by the, uh, aroma. So we moved the cabinet away and cleaned it out. Now, they do it about once every two days on the carpet where the cabinet used to be. We never catch them in the act - we just come home and the whole house reeks. We've tried chemicals to clean the rug, cat repellant, physical obstacles, and punishing them at the scene of the crime. Nothing seems to work! HELP! Dave Ziffer ..!decvax!ihnss!iwlc7!dfz
