really enjoy it, but it can be expensive. I have been
showing my dogs myself for a while, but when I get into a bind my
breeder shows them for me when I havn't been winning for a while.

I have shown mostly up in Canada. The point
system is very different there. As you may already know you only
need 10 points for a Canadian Championship with no majors. In the
states for Lhasas it 15 points plus to majors to finish. For a
major for Lhasas it is a total of 15 bitches, thats alot. We are
working on it though. I am working on my Lhasa's coat for more
thickness and more length at least for the states. Yes I know that
breeding my dog will take away from coat, but she is almost two
and I thought well maybe should be bred soon. So we bred her at
Balston Spa that weekend on Thursday and took off for Canada that
weekend after the breeding. Later we returned again for another
breeding on Sunday. Any how, yes after 4 weeks she (Bridget) we
call her is going to be a mom, her first. The vet thinks around
six or five. So we are kind of excited. It is our first time also.
We will have help delivering the puppies also. I hope the litter
turns out very good. It was also the male's first time.

Well any way I decided to get a Tibeten
terrier also. The majors are not so big for them and they are
also shown in group six after Lhasas so there wouldn't be a
showing conflict. I just thought that someone out in the dog
world had some pointers to give me about the breed. He (Spanky)
is my first. The breeders I got him from are very big Breeders
from Connecticut. I met them last year at a show in Albany N.Y.
We are pretty good friends now. They Co-own my dog with me. They
will help me show him when we can get together.

Thanks for the info on the Dog show book.
I was meaning to get one but haven't sent for it yet. Do you
have the address I can get a subscription from.

Well anyway I gotta go, and keep in touch
you are probably the only show person out there in net.pets. You
can let me know whats going on as far as shows etc. Hey whats the
Lhasa and Tibeten compatition like in Oregen ?
