I have a couple of continuing problems with my Lhasa Apso, and I was wondering if someone out there had solved something similar. Any comments are welcome (direct mail, I'll repost anything worthwhile): 1> My dog, and the age of 1 year, is nicely housebroken. Unfortunately, he also has a bad habit of forgetting when he is upset with us (he gets upset when he is lonely or feels he is being ignored, among other things). Anyone have any ideas on how to break him of this habit, since punishing seems to be getting him the attention he was looking for in the first place? 2> Lhasa's, being long haired animals, are supposed to enjoy being brushed. You couldn't tell by this one. Anyone have a good way of teaching a dog to at least lie still and stop biting, if not to enjoy it?
