Let's hear some more "Ludwig & friend" stories from T C Wheeler at wetcwapyuxa.UUCP!! Now that was a great cat!

I second the motion to hear some more stories about "Ludwig" the cat from T C Wheeler. That cat sounds like it was a barrel of laughs and great fun to have around! I have always wanted a cat like that, but instead I ended up with a real "snobby" type that I eventually gave to my husband's parents. Oh well, I guess I will try getting a dog next. M. Carey

* Take that you buggy pest!!!! I currently own two cats, Baby Lynn (named in parody of the friend who gave him to me) and Nusience. Baby could almost be Garfield. He is fat (21lbs), lazy, eats everything he can get his paws on, and in general is really strange. He refuses to drink out of his water dish. He will drink the scuzzy, soapy water out of a pan soaking in the sink, he loves to drink "foot soup" (we have one of those foot massagers), he drinks bath water, etc. but he won't touch water if it is in his bowl! He tends to be rather skittish, especially around people he doesn't know. He will "hide" behind the curtains or an a chair and watch everything, but he won't let people near him, unless they have FOOD. His favorite game is attacking pieces of paper and playing with his invisible toy. He is so fat he has trouble jumping onto chairs, he often misses then stalks around with the attitude "I meant to do that"! But every now and then, he gets affectionate. He comes up to me, snuggles up to my shoulder, wraps his paws around my neck, buries his head into my shoulder, and purrs himself to sleep, sighhhhhh!!!! Nusience, on the other hand, lives up to her name extremely well. Even though she is now 2 years old, she still acts like a kitten. She loves to play with anything and everything. Her favorite resting place is on top of the refrigerator, where she can look down on everyone. She sleeps curled up against me at night, UNDER the covers! She is a shoulder sitter, and will immediately assume this perch on everyone who walks into the apartment in order to say hello, whether she knows them or not. She is also a pest. She loves to sit on the newspaper you are trying to read, lie on your face if you are trying to read a book or watch tv, change the channel on the tv if she doesn't like what's on (yes, she figured that one out all by herself!!), climb into the sink when you are trying to use it, etc. She also loves to eat, anything, anytime. I have never found ANYTHING she wouldn't eat (except maybe cat food!!)! Oh well, I better get back to work now so I can continue to earn enough to keep them fed and happy!!! Marla S.
