I am planning on taking a 2500 mile flight and want to take my ferret along. Does anyone have any information about carrying small animals in the cabin, as opposed to some cargo hold? I have seen people with small kittens in cat carriers - but this was years in the past. steve crandall ihnp4!mhuxt!evans

If you want your ferret to survive, do not allow him/her to be placed in the cargo hold. I have heard that a prize show dog once died in the cargo hold after being loaded adjacent to a shipment of dry ice. The dog froze to death. -------------- Ken in Champaign-Urbana ....![pur-ee ihnp4]!uiucdcs!rossen (really at...) ....![pur-ee ihnp4]!uiucdcs!ccvaxa!rossen
