I have a friend who has been taking care of a parakeet for almost six months
now. All I know is that the parakeet is blue, and of Australian origin.
The bird does not seem to be happy now, it stays in the cage most of the
time (normally the door is open, and the bird flys around the room), doesn't
chirp as much.
What seems really strange to me is the fact that the bird is changing color;
it's now almost all white. Is this due to the fact that it can't deal with
the cold (the room temp is between 60-65) or could it be sick? I'd appreciate
any info.
