My wife and I have two cats, and we love them a whole lot. We saved them
from the pound, and that has always made us feel great.

It's funny, we give into them so much, our cats practically have the run of
the house. I'll give up my favorite chair if one of our cats is sitting in
it. They are so affectionate, we have a tough time punishing them.

We have had trouble with them clawing our new couch. We trim their nails
weekly, but they still mangle anything resembling new furniture.

We decided that a plant sprayer was the answer. The first few times we sprayed
them for scratching the sofa, they ran and hid. But one of our guys got used
to it, and now he loves it. In fact, he puts his face directly in front of the
nozzle, (and even licks it occasionally), whenever we pick up the sprayer.

We can squirt him till the bottle runs dry and he loves it! And that's when
the nozzle is set on jet stream!

Each morning we'll turn the bathtub water on so our little guy can jump in
and clean himself. It seems he can't get enough water!!

The other day he got his claw caught in the kitchen sink drain, after trying
to wash his furry little orange head. He yacked and screamed until I could
come to his rescue. Then he rubbed his head all over me for a few minutes,
I guess to show his appreciation.

We are cat lovers, no doubt about it. They are really special to us, and
provide us with a lot of joy.
