Has anyone out there in netland had any experience with iguanas? In particular, I have an 7-month old, 14 inch long iguana that's an absolute monster! Although his tail whipping doesn't hurt now, his teeth do, and I'm concerned this little guy isn't going to get any better as he gets larger. Does anyone have any suggestions for mellowing this critter out? I've tried leaving him alone, only opening the cage to feed him or change his water. That didn't seem to work, so now I'm working on holding him (if I can catch him) at least once or twice a day in an attempt to "break" him in. This doesn't appear to be working either. He's still mean as hell! About the only progress I've made, is getting him to eat food from my hand, which he's done since I first got him 6 months ago. Also, any suggestions on how to house train an iguana, if such a thing can be done? Can they be trained (or convinced) to use a litter box, or newspaper, etc.? Should I start working on that now or wait until he's larger? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Lee Damico {decvax!decwrl!amd harpo hplabs!hpda ihnp4 ucbvax!amd}!fortune!damico
