A friend has fallen in love with Boston Terriers and wants to buy one for a pet. He wonders what they are like as pets, how much room they need, etc. Also, he would like to know something about good and bad physical traits--what to look for in a possible show quality puppy. Aside from dog books and the AKC standard, which don't mention current showing fads for breeds, where is information about what to look for in breed show specimens? I tried to find a Boston Terrier club locally and have encountered a stone wall. The information he requests is favored size, markings, and other breed traits (like length of nose--should they be able to breathe or not [:-)], should the legs be straight or slightly bowlegged, how long should the tail stump be, you know what I mean). Does anyone know either the answers to the questions, or where we can find the answers? Thanks, Joyce Andrews ihnp4!inuxd!jla
