There are two of us here at Aerospace that have recently started up marine aquariums. We would like to find out what the various methods people are using. For example, has anyone had success with freeze-dried or bottled nitrifying bacteria or is some other method better. What are the best fish used for starter fish? Do you leave dead starter fish in the tank to help with the ammonia or do you remove them? What temperature is best for start-up? How long do you allow for start-up before adding more fish?
