Regarding the kitty who is contantly shaking his/her head.
I had a kitten once who did the same thing. Took him to the
vet and it turns out he had an inner ear infection. They had
to put him under to clean all the gunk out. Then he had to
take pills for a month afterwards. The similarity is that
he shook his head all the time (quite rigorously, too) and
never had any other symptons (like stuff coming out of the
ears). Maybe you should take your kitty to the vet.
