I need to find a suitable clock for addition to a CP/M-S100 system (either a board or a serially-interfaced device) which is suitable for timing a psychological experiment. I'd prefer it to have these features 1. A timer which can be read in .01 sec's 2. A clock / calendar for obvious uses and interface to CP/M+ later 3. The ability to generate interrupts OR simply read the clock With that sketchy outline, does any product suggest itself? Thanks Dennis J. Streveler UC-SF Sec on Med Info Sci

This may be overkill, but the CompuPro System Support I card fits your needs and then some. Here is what it has: 8253 Interval timer (three section 2 MHz cascadable) MSM5832 Calendar clock with battery backup 2 8259A Interrupt controllers 1 2651 USART for serial I/O Sockets for 4K of RAM or EPROM (6116/2716) A socket for a 9511A or 9512 LSI math processor The card can be purchased for $350 from discount houses such as Cal. Digital., perhaps cheaper if you look around. Ben Goldfarb ARPA: goldfarb.ucf-cs@Rand-Relay uucp: {decvvax,duke}!ucf-cs!goldfarb
