From: Herb Lin <LIN@mit-mc> anyone able to help? i have a pair of QUME 8 inch floppies which refuse to boot when I power up my system. Does the controller (a GODBOUT DISK 1) handle the cold-start booting, or is the component responsible in the disk drive itself.? The disk activity lights do not come on (and appear not to be faintly gloing either). thanks. herb lin
