From: Seymour <JOSEPH@RU-GREEN.ARPA> Gentlepersons, A department here at Rutgers University has several Vector 3 Computers (model 2600 I think) that they are trying to tie together with phone lines. They have Hayes smartmodems and some Ventel modems for them and came to me looking for software. The vectors are Z80 CP/M machines and, as such, are prime targets for a MODEM7 implementation. My problem: There seems to be no overlay for the Vector and even if there was, I would have to do some fancy footwork to get it to the vector in the first place The Solution: If YOU have a Vector 3 (or compatible) machine and you have MODEM7 or any public domain program that does file transfer or data capture could you please drop me a note and I will mail you a blank disk and a Self adressed stamped envelope so you can copy the software and return it to us.
