From: Mike Ciaraldi <ciaraldi@Rochester.ARPA> I have a friend with a Northstar Advantage and an NEC 8023 printer, with Centronics interface. He is using Northstar's CP/M and Printer Board. When running under CP/M, in BASIC (Northstar's BASIC, in its CP/M version), he can write to the printer with no problem. However, when just sitting in CP/M, if he does ^P, things still come to the screen but nothing gets printed. He has tried using STAT to change around the I/O assignments, but this has not helped. There is very little documentation with the Advantage (no schematic, BIOS listings, etc.). He has called Northstar, and they said they would call back. Does anyone have any ideas on this, and/or have a solution? Thanks for any help you can give. Mike Ciaraldi, University of Rochester ciaraldi@rochester
