To all Heath H-89 users: I have an H-89 running CP/M 2.2.03 which I am attempting to interface(RS-232 serial) with an Okidata Microline 92 printer. Everything seems to work except I can't use the printer at a speed higher than 1200 baud. Both CP/M and the printer can be configured for up to 9600 baud, but there appears to be a handshaking problem which , when I try to print a long listing (longer than 2k bytes, the size of the printer buffer) I lose much of the data. The printer can be configured for many protocols, but no one seems to know the correct one. I would very much like to resolve this problem (obviously). Please respond if you have some helpful info. ? ~v If you're trying to use XON/XOFF handshaking, the DB-25 plug on the Oki end of the cable must have pin 4 jumpered to pin 5, and pin 6 to 20. If not so jumpered, the problem you describe would result. Richard Kinch
