Help, help, I remember reading an article on the TI "sprite" chip (TMS 9918A) some time ago. It had construction details-I believe. I also think it was in BYTE mag. but I'm not sure. Can anyone give me some pointers to the article, 9918 info etc. etc. -Thanks in advance -Neil

This was their LOGO issue with a bunch of turtles on the cover. Since then I have seen other graphics IC's, mostly marketed by TI. Does anyone else on the net have pointers to these newer chips?
