From: Keith Petersen <w8sdz@brl> ---forwarded from the Sysop Clearinghouse RCPM--- Msg 241 is 10 line(s) on 01/14/84 from STEVE SANDERS to ALL about MDM717.MOD When trying to overlay MDM717 with the M7NM-2.ASM file I found that the ORG of 0D00h was bad...After hunting around, I found the new location should be: ORG 0CDFh I have changed M7NM-2.ASM accordingly and will be carrying a copy called M7NM-3.ASM with the new ORG as stated. Steve Sanders Msg 242 is 10 line(s) on 01/14/83 from RON FOWLER to ALL about NO MORE MDM RELEASES!!! Apparently, Irv didn't get the word -- I'm making MAJOR modifications to MDM7 and am totally unwilling to add any- one else's belatedly. If you don't want to be left behind (I will release a version # ahead of yours if need be), then WAIT until I get done. I will be only a few more days. Among the new features will be a TYPE command, a RENAME, enhanced DIR command, ZCPR2-style DU file specifications, and several other things I'm not specifying (in case I don't get to them all). So please, read and heed. --Ron Fowler Msg 243 is 16 line(s) on 01/15/83 from RON FOWLER to ALL about MORE RE MDM720 Re the previous messages about the phone number library: I have changed the ORG back to 0D00H. This was not done indiscriminately; MDM720 will have a new configuraton block located immediately after the phone # library (the whole thing will be configurable, including the modem overlay, with my newest version of MLOAD; ddt no longer necessary). Hence, this area must stay firmly located, now and forever. (Fair warning; don't spend a lot of time changing phone # overlay files back, you'll just have to do it again later). Please forgive the tone of this and the previous message; I am a bit upset about the new release of MDM several days after I posted a message here asking for a moratorium, but I guess I'll get over it (I just hate to have to go back and add Irv's 717 stuff to what is no longer a correct ante- cedant. Plus I have this funny feeling that Irv is about to do a 718....). --Ron --end--
