From: Keith Petersen <w8sdz@brl> Irv Hoff continues to ignore our requests for moratoriums. He irresponsibly issued an update which, in my opinion, was not fully tested. Rather than have a "broken" version out there, I elected to fix his broken MDM718 and reissue it as MDM719 so we'd have something that WORKS while we wait for Ron Fowler to finish Beta-testing his new super modem program. I'm sorry if this issuing of a new version upsets anyone, but I've had it with Mr. Hoff's "ignore everyone else" attitude. We on the Info-Modem7 mailing list tried to tell him about some bugs he introduced in MDM717 when he "undid" some of Bob Plouffe's very nice ruggedization of the program because he "didn't agree with it". --Keith
