Does anyone know exactly what the BDOS does when it "resets" a disk.
I am wondering if that is when the HOME disk entry point is used in
the BIOS. The reason I need to know, is that my BIOS maintains a
type byte in memory that indicates the kind of disk in the drive
(ie dsdd or sssd) and only checks for the type if this bytes MSB
is set to one. I currently reset the types to "unknown" status after
a warm boot, but wonder how BDOS can allow only one disk to be reset.
If this isn't the reason for the HOME entry point what is? I can't
think of why else anyone would use it.
