Some local amateur radio operators should be able to help you with information about BAUDOT/ASCII conversion units. Amateur radio operators have been using the BAUDOT code (International Telegraph code # 2) for years. Many of them now use microcomputers instead of teletypewritters as BAUDOT terminals. There are also a couple of commercial companies that sell BAUDOT/ASCII conversion units.
