Thanks to Mike Webb and Bernie Eiben for submitting the latest version of FINDBAD, the program that does a non-destructive read of the entire disk and makes a directory entry allocating all bad sectors to it. This prevents CP/M from using these sectors again, thus "locking out" bad sectors. Filename Type Bytes CRC Simtel20 directory MICRO:<CPM.DSKUTL> FBAD57.AQM.1 COM 21888 9B77H This new version has the option to display the track number being scanned, instead of the usual "*****" as sectors are read. Also recently added is a character counter to prevent ** runoff to the right. See the source code for instructions on how to use the program. --Keith
