Ref: Request from Chuck McManis(cem@intelca.uucp) The Zenith RDCPM.COM program that is distributed with the Z100 MSDOS (which I assume is the same as the one that you have) will read several disk formats, all of which are created by various versions of Heath/Zenith CP/M. It will work for files created on the Z100 series as well as for the H89. In answer to your specific question, the following is the Parameter Block for a standard Zenith CP/M-86 5-1/4" floppy. SPT: BSH: BLM: EXM: DSM: DRM: AL0: AL1: CKS: OFF: 0020 04 0F 01 009B 00FF F0 00 0040 0002 Allocation Block Size -- 2K Formatted Disk size is 312Kbytes # Directory Entries 256 whick requires 8 Kbytes Leaving useful capacity 304 Kbytes. Other formats are available. If you desire them, message me and I will get the info. Steve Noland -------
