I just received some information on this single board computer. 4Mhz Z-80, 128k ram (2 banks of 64k), built in video, and boot EPROM (video RAM and EPROM are in 3rd bank), 2 serial ports [SIO], CTC, ~4 parallel ports (keyboard and Centronics printer) [8255 and PIO], floppy controller (5.25 and 8") [WD1793], clock chip with battery; comes complete with CP/M 3.0. It costs about $600 singly, drops to $450 in large quantites. They claim their BIOS can run any combination of 5.25 and 8" drives (4 total). It looks like a good basis for a portable 8-bit CP/M system (the board is a bit larger than a 5.25" drive). Has anyone ever seen one, comments/criticisms? Words of advice? Thanks much, Sam Lipson slipson@bbn-unix [Please reply to ME, not the list - I will honor summary requests]
