I'm looking for an EPROM burner to hang off my S-100 CPM system. It can be plug in or RS-232, etc just so it can program lots of different size proms (1k, 2k, 4k, etc). If it is internal, I would prefer it to use I/O addresses rather than take up memory space. Anyone have any exerience to pass on?? (by the way, I have only seen ads for the SDS and SSM units). Does anyone know know where I can get card guides for my Vector Graphics Vector 1? Is VG still around? Thanks, Craig Durland ...!hp-pcd!craig

<> I use a really nice EPROM burner: Programmer 4+ Periphco 1659 Scott Blvd #1 Santa Clara, CA 95050 (408)-244-5214 It costs about $200. Features: - Programs 2716, 2732, 2764, 27128's - RS232 - Selectable as Data set or terminal - All Dc is generated on board (you do have to buy you're own transformer!) - Handles the "A"'s too: 21/25 VDC - ZIF on board - Software is pretty good: Program, Read, Verify. Dumps in ASCII and HEX - CP/M and other os's It does not come in a pretty box, it is pretty slow, it isn't as nice as the $5000 DataIo I use sometimes, but it meets my "home/hobby/business" purposes. I'm not attached to Periphco, except at the wrist and ankles. Call them and ask for the spec sheet. Ross M. Greenberg @ NYU ----> allegra!cmcl2!acf4!greenber <----
