For those of you poor people out there who don't have access to a comics shoppe, or who haven't for any other reason read Jim Starlin's masterwork "The Death of Captain Marvel", Mar-Vell the Kree is quite dead. Without going into too much detail, he died a combination of a warrior's death and a painful, agonizing end that no one should have had to suffer through. It is quite good, and any of you who remember the Cosmic Cube should definitely read it. On the subject of death in comics: How many superheros have died? I can remember: The Swordsman, Nighthawk, Thunderbird, Phoenix, Warlock, Captain Marvel, Drax the Destroyer, Spider-Woman (all Marvel); Invisble Kid I, Ferro Lad, and Chemical King (Legionaires), and the Earth-Two Batman. Any others in mainstream comics? (I don't want a list of all of the elves who died in Elfquest #15.) _ _ /.| |.\ The Demolished Hacker -| | | |- Kevin Maroney \_| |_/ duke!unc!kh
