Relay-Version:version B 3/9/83; site harpo.UUCP Message-ID:<539@sdchema.UUCP> Date:Tue, 10-May-83 16:28:04 EDT Rumor (rumour if I pretend to be Claremont) has it that Steve Gerber and Val Mayerik will be working for the Marvel Comics people once more. For anyone who does not know, these are the two who created Howard the Duck. I don't remember the title or character for this series, buyt it seems that this will premiere as a Graphic Novel sometime around the end of 1983, and be followed with a regular series published by the EPIC Comics Group. On a similar note, am I the only one dying of anticipation for the next Graphic Novel? The next one is supposed to be the conclusion to the Killraven story that ran in Amazing Adventures back in the early seventies. The author is Don McGregor, and the artist is P. Craig Russell. This should be a masterpiece. On another similar note, did anyone see a graphic novel/ trade paperback published about five years ago called Detectives, Inc. This is by Don Mc Gregor, and Marshall Rogers, and one of the finest comics stories I have ever read. Now, that is a strong statement, if ever I heard one. The critics were very split on this particular story. I (emphasis on I) liked it. Give it a try, if you can find it. I am GINO! P.S. If this sounds much like an article already posted, this is because the article did not show up in my reading of the news. Maybe it got lost. I dunno.
