It seems that Doug Moench is finally getting a handle on Batman and is producing the kind of stories I was waiting for. To say that the Nocturna storyline was inspirational or even great is a pretty big exaggeration, but by the end of Detective #530 the old feel for metaphores which was his trademark in MOKF is back in full blossom, and I for one am glad. I had pretty much given up on Bats when Conway was at the helm. It's kind of ironic that Moench, who has been doing that Batman clone, Moon Roach, uh, I mean Knight, has taken so long to develop a decent feel for the original. Well, anyway it's good to see Batboy and Rubin back in the picture, evin if Rubin is being replaced by that weasel Jason Todd. Sam Hughes ...duke!ucf-cs!fau!spirit
