Well gang, here they are at last... the final results, winners,
near winners, and loosers of the * Net.comics Reader Poll *. After
the second posting the reponse really started to pick up and we got a
good turn-out after all. So, with out further hesitation here are the
results:

(To make it interesting, let's start from the bottom up)

** Favorite Female
   -------- ------
Not much of a REAL favorite here... no one character had any massive
	amount of points.

	1. Wonder Girl was the winner with only 8 points.
	2. Second place came out a three way tie between :
	    a. Rogue (o.k. how many picked her just because they enjoy
               the game so much ?)
            b. Somerset Holmes
            c. Storm
            both with 6 points.
        3. There were also three 5 point third placers :
            a. Majik
            b. She-Hulk
            c. Starfire

** Favorite Male
   -------- ----
I had no idea who might win here. After all, there are so many to
choose from. The final winners were:

	1. Rueben Flagg (quite a surprise to me). 11 points
        2. Wolverine. 9 points
	3. The Batman (nice to know some legends never die). 8 points

** Favorite Team
   -------- ----
Numbers one and two are no real surprise. And with such a small
number of contestants to choose from the favorites were obvious.

	1. The X-Men (who else) with a walopping 31 points.
  	2. The New Teen Titans. 22 points.
	3. A tie. Both teams had only 6 points.
	    a. Alpha Flight
            b. Avengers

** Favorite Writer
   -------- ------
Once again, the favorites were pretty obvious.

	1. David Sim. 15 points
	2. Chris Claremont. 10 points
        3. Frank Miller. 9 points

** Favorite Artist
   -------- ------

	1. George Perez. (if not for his marvelous book work, then at least
for his absolute knock-out Titan's poster) 15 points
	2. John Byrne. 12 points
        3. Walt Simonson. 8 points

** Favorite Book
   -------- ----
There was numerous diversion here; as should be expected. The
answers ranged from the traditional to the really wild... and I
guess it just goes to show why the comic business is so strong
today: Because you just can't please everyone with the same
        thing.
(Let's really make thing dramatic and do these in reverse order)

	3. American Flagg. Only 7 points.
	2. Thor. (The Norse god reigns supreme). 10 points
        1. And finally...the one you've all been waiting for...
            Cerebus. 12 points.

Well, there you have it. The results as tabulated by myself (Price-
Waterhouse was too expensive), Len Armstrong, on this day, 18 February 1984.

Thanks again to all who participated.
