Normalman, the first colour offering from Aardvark-Vanaheim, gets an almost
unconditional recommendation from yours truly. It shows such an obvious
affection and understanding of the comics most of us grew up with (I hope,
otherwise I'm showing my age) that it is a real delight to read. If you
can remember the Weienger Superman family of comics, and you like Hembeck,
you should enjoy this. After all, who among us could resist a story called
"Not a Dream, Not a Hoax, Not an Imaginary Tale"? My only hesitation in
recommending this 100% is the price. 2 bucks is a bit much to pay for such a
thin item, no matter how much fun it is.
