<feed a bug? Go to jail> Well, there's been a lot of talk here about S (I don't think I can spell it again!) taking on the New Mutants. I've just read NM #18 and I can't say I'm very impressed. As far as I can recall, I've never seen any of his work before ( I didn't follow Moon Knight), but it seems rather washed out here. Faces and figures seem rather stylized and indistinct. The story doesn't help matters much either, while several intriguing (to say the least!) plot threads are started, it is done in a rather disjointed and confusing manner. One thing that seems certain though (I hope) is that Dani is not dead. (Although there's been a lot of that going around ...) On another topic, the Alpha Flight "blooper", I think Byrne has the quote right , it really is "savage breast". "savage beast" has just worked its way into our folklore like "Elementary my dear Watson". -- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ted Nolan usceast!ted 6536 Brookside Circle Columbia, SC 29206 (feather the rast!) --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
