A few queries. Has anyone read the latest "Legion of Super-Heroes"? Did you notice that at the "airport", (it's the panel in the bottom right hand side of the page), Captain America (Marvel) is standing in line? You can't see him too well, but there's that familiar red-white-and-blue shield we all know and love, with a muscular chest sticking out, with a big white star on it. Also in the new Teen Titans K-S Annual, when Terra loses it, the explosion sound is F-O-O-M (Friends Of Old Marvel, an old Marvel fan club)? A quick review (some day you'll all be graced with more). Super Powers from DC has got to be biggest spin-off rip-off I've ever seen. "The all powerful being" grants a slight portion of his power to 4 people who then turn around and grant a portion of their powers to 4 criminals, all in the hopes of getting rid of the superheroes. Why didn't all powerful being just blow all to kingdom come? All the extraterrestials look suspiciously like Kirby's New Gods. The plot's bad, I personally don't like the artwork, but the good point is...DC's only gonna drag it out 5 issues, whereas Marvel is dragging out Secret Bores for 12 issues. "Back to the fantasy world, please..." _ ? _ o O -Roy- ^ `---' USENET: ...decvax!decwrl!rhea!vlnvax!karlson Snail Mail: Digital Equipment Corporation 200 Forrest St., Marlboro Mass., 01752 Fone: (1)-(617)-467-7167 (DTN 231)

In that same issue of Legion of Super-Heroes, you see a full-figure shot of Hawkman standing in line in front of Captain America (maybe 2 ahead in the line, actually). Mike
