[net.comics] Jews in TOMB OF DRACULA

boyajian@akov68.DEC (04/14/84)

For those of you who may be interested (especially Mr. Martillo, who made the
request), the issues of TOMB OF DRACULA that dealt with a Jew, David Eschol,
were #26 (Oct 74) through #29 (Feb 75). Perhaps you should be warned, though,
that you may not care for later issues which bring in as off-and-on supporting
characters a nebbish named Harold H. Harold and a rather flighty Aurora Rabino-
witz (starting with issue #37 (Oct 75)). All of these issues were written by
Marv Wolfman.
Another good comic story involving death camp survivors is BATMAN #237
(Dec 71) by Denny O'Neil and Neal Adams (story inspired by Berni Wrightson and
Harlan Ellison).
