I don't know about the comparison between Marvel and DC as far as science
goes... i've been reading both for over ten years, and i've read most of the
stuff they put out in the sixties, and without a doubt, Marvel has done a much
better job with the scientific explainations over the years... actually, marvel
was the first and only one to try explaining anything beyond calling it a
"death - ray" (a favorite dc euphomism)... Marvel was the company that tried
to explain everything in the first place....
as for DC, i have yet to see many issues where they ty to explain the
science of anything, and i would like to see some references to when they did.
i think that the reference to "infra-yellow" in Gl made on the net earlier
pretty much characterizes DC's handling of explainations to date... i mean
"this is my super-powered DEATH-RAY!!!!" .... come on....
Marvel at least attempted to give explainations to those sort of things...
