<SPOILER!!!! DEALS WITH CONTENTS OF X-MEN 185> Just some ramblings on the possible heritage of Rachel based on information in X-men 185. So, Rachel is the daughter of Scott and Madylene Summers. Or is she... From her own (Rachel's) lips we know that her mother and Prof. Xavier taught Rachel how to use her powers. As far as we know, Madylene is not a mutant. Conslusion, Madylene is not Rachel's mother. I think that Jean Grey may be Rachel's mother. Rachel comes from a time-line where J. Grey was not killed. Maybe it is the time-line first conceived, thrown out and later reprinted in the recent "Phoenix: the untold story." The ghost of Albert Einstein is looking over my shoulder at this terminal screen slowly shaking its head...
