Brad, could you see that Marv Wolfman sees this? (I'm not sure just how he is
connected to the net)

About the J.L.A. / Avengers --

I understand that the next MARVEL AGE will have an article about Marvel's side
of this snafu. I hope that all this isn't going to be reduced to name-calling
back and forth. What I liked the most about these crossovers was the spirit of
cooperation between the two major competitors; I find it unfortunate that this
is breaking down. Speaking of crossovers, I noticed in the latest TALES OF THE
TEEN TITANS that the second X-TITANS book has been indefinitely shelfed. I'm
sorry to hear that. Is it because of the snafu with the JLAVENGERS or just too
much workload on the part of you and George?

<NB: In the sentence about "name-calling" above, I'm not implying that you are
personally pointing the finger at Marvel. I was speaking in general terms.>

About Saavik and Pon Farr --

I'm not convinced by the "different cycle" argument. If it were true,
then Saavik would have more likely said (in ST III) that pon farr was something
that all Vulcans go through at set times in their adult lives, rather than spec-
ifying males and the 7-year cycle. I admit that this is perhaps too picky, but
then I brought it up as a mere observation rather than as a complaint. I don't
follow the TREK comic, so it doesn't much matter to me one way or the other.

About SkyWolf --

Sorry. I didn't mean to imply malicious intent with the term "rip-off".
And I certainly don't think that you believed that the Nazis had "Flying Fuhr-
ers". I'm an old BLACKHAWK fan, too, but I always found the Nazis' superweapons
the hardest part to take in those stories. I'll take your word that "Skywolf"
was meant as an homage to the Blackhawks, but a spoof? Not quite, or at least,
it didn't read like one. It read as if it was meant to be taken seriously (or at
least as serious as any superhero strip is). If you meant it as a spoof, then I
think you failed. C'est la vie.

I really appreciate this opportunity get feedback from you, however in-
directly, and to clarify matters.
