Q: Why not have the healer (of the Morlocks) in X-Men 186, heal EVERYBODY.

A: A few possible reasons, are:

(BEFORE I go any further, 4 lines up should say New Mutants #20, not XM 186)

. Storm, as "leader" of the Morlocks, can ask a fellow mutant (note the
only difference between the x-mutants and the morlock-mutants, is that
one has been trained as a super team, and the others are only scorned
mutants), to heal a fellow mutant. But to ask a mutant who has been
scorned and ridiculed by humanity (remember that's the reason the healer
is a Morlock), to heal humanity, HA. HA. HA. No dice.

. In so far as we've been shown, the healer has only used his powers on
fellow mutants, there COULD be possible side-effects (the surgeon general
has determined that being healed by mutant healers could be hazardous
to your health) for *NORMAL* humans.
