If this was done I belive that some kind of message appeared on the crt. There is certainly an album by Tomita called "Bermuda Triangle". I had to buy it as a present a few years ago. I think that this could also be the album with the *encoded* message on it. -- [ You called all the way from America - Joan Armatrading ] [ You're never alone with a rubber duck - Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy ] ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ || From the keys of Richard Jeffreys ( British Citizen Overseas ) || || @ AT&T Bell Laboratories, Naperville, Illinois || ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ || General disclamer about anything and everything that I may have typed. || ------------------------------------------------------------------------------

( I don't know where, I don't have the record) And the message is encoded in Tarbell cassette tape format. The Tarbell format originated from an S-100 cassette interface board manufactured by Tarbell electronics. It uses phase encoding, with hex E5 as a sync byte I think. I have a Tarbell board that I haven't used in a long time (since I moved up to a disk controller). Keith Doyle {ucbvax,ihnp4,decvax}!trwrb!cadovax!keithd
