> OK Jerry, you piqued my interest....Just what exactly IS a Warlock??! Well, this'll have to be the ten cent tour; I haven't the time or ambition for the dollar tour. Basicly, a warlock practices sorcery, and a witch practices witchcraft. The difference between sorcery and witchcraft? Witchcraft is basicly a religion in which the practitioners, like Christians, Muslims, etc [no flames, please], attempt to bring about miraculous effects through ritualistic prayer to their deity, usually the goddess Hecate. Sorcery is merely the manipulation of mystical energies without regard to "religious" matters. > Anyway, I'm kinda worried, campers. (Probably as Maddy, but I'd sure like to see Jean Gray again.) > -- > Randwulf (Randy Haskins) From what I've read here and there, Selene will be joining the Hellfire Club (or at least associating with them) in a story that will cross over from THE X-MEN to THE NEW MUTANTS. As for be able to deal with her, remember, the X-Men weren't prepared for her, since they had no idea what she could do. they might fare bet- ter with some preparation. As for Phoenix, I'm sure that as long as Shooter is around, she won't return as Jean Grey. As for Maddy, well, I don't see any justification for her becoming Phoenix unless she *is* a reincarnation of Jean (and as I said before, I'm not convinced that she isn't), and if she is, well, then we're back to the previous problem. > !!!!!WHAT ABOUT THE MILLER SORY!!! THE CLOSING SCENE TO THAT WAS ART!!! > > The Napolean of Crime So *you* say! To be honest, Jeff, while I had no real objections to the Miller- illustrated story, it didn't particularly excite me, either. --- jayembee (Jerry Boyajian, DEC, Maynard, MA) UUCP: {decvax|ihnp4|allegra|ucbvax|...}!decwrl!dec-rhea!dec-akov68!boyajian ARPA: boyajian%akov68.DEC@DECWRL.ARPA
