ANNOUNCING:
THE GREAT TEAM-UP SURVEY!
Yes, all you have to do is mail me a list of the comic book team
ups you MOST want to see, and I'll summarize and post the results
to the net. If you want to include your reason for wanting the
team-up, suggest writers/artists, possible plots, or anything
else, then by all means do so.
If you suggest Superman-Batman, or Spiderman-ANYONE, you'd better
have a *darn* good reason.
I'll give 3 examples, to get things rolling:
1) Batman/Captain America: art by Byrne.
2) Sargon, Mistress of War (from Warp)/ Teddy Q. (from E-Man):
For 35,000 years Sargon has been training warriors - now let's
see her teaching skills put to the ultimate test: Can she turn a
sleepy marsupial into a Mighty Battle Bear? Yes, we're talking
Master of Koala Fu!
3) Legion of Superheros (DC)/Imperial Guard (Marvel): This one
should need no explanation! Art by Dave Cockrum. Story by...
Story? There won't be any room for that, with *this* many heros
on the page. Besides, it's a Legion story! :-)
Now, please note that one of the above is a *good* teamup, one is
a *bad* teamup, and one is a *silly* teamup. So let's be careful
with our suggestions, ok?
PRIZE
What! I give you the chance to show off your imagination and
ingenuity to the whole net and you want a prize as well? Well,
if any one teamup stands out far beyond the others, I'm willing
to run it as a Champions scenario at any convention we meet at,
for you, your friends, and as many extras as it takes to fill the
ranks!
