I recognized: o X-Men mansion o Millenium Falcon o Key to Superman's fortress of solitude o Batman's & Superman's giant penny I was confused by: o Giant round spaceship o Ship (the Titanic?) What were those things? -Jack Applin (hplabs!hp-dcd!jack)

Gee, I don't recall that G-S A #4 was all that bad (for those of you who don't remember that far back, it featured Mantis' marriage to a plant), though it cer- tainly won't go down in the annals of comic book history as a Classic. Now SHE- HULK #1 was *really* bad --- in fact, it was the worst comic I can remember ever reading until the Dazzler graphic novel came along. > The artwork (in Xmen) was intended to resemble that of Trina Robbins, and it > did so. My wife, who keeps up on these sorts of things, informs me > that (at last rumor) Ms Robbins and Mr Leialoha share living arrangements. Why Leialoha (or anyone) would want the art to resemble Trina Robbins' is beyond me. I don't care for her stuff at all. > By the way, did anyone notice that Claremont has lost the ability to tell > how much power a person has? So far all she's done on Earth is astral projection and the soulsword/armor. Eventually she'll grow more powerful - powerful enough to "lay the world at Kitty's feet." But right now she's still a child. Belasco's powers were much greater in Limbo, too.
